Waldorf, Germany based business software maker SAP has teamed up with world’s second largest computer maker Dell to better integrate point-of-sale systems for retail.
A press release says the alliance promises faster checkout lanes, improved ability to meet customer demands and better inventory management. Retailers will be able to use SAP for Retail software on Dell’s Retail OptiPlex 745 POS systems and Dell PowerEdge servers.
SAP also has a retail point-of-sale partnership with IBM. |
