Microsoft has launched its latest version of Business Process Management product BizTalk server with SOA.

Called as BizTalk Server 2006 Release 2 (R2), the new release has native support for electronic data interchange (EDI) and radio frequency identification (RFID). Microsoft says this is aimed at connecting RFID machines that are used daily.

According to Microsoft, Release 2 integrates with Microsoft's Windows Communications Foundation (WCF).
