ServicePower’s Field Resource Optimisation Earns ''Powered by SAP NetWeaver'' Status

ServicePower, a provider of tools for optimised service execution, has said its field resource optimisation solution has received 'Powered by SAP NetWeaver' status from SAP AG. The Powered by SAP NetWeaver certification of the field resource optimisation solution will allow process and data integration of ServicePower’s automated scheduling solution, SERVICEPower, with both the mySAP Customer Relationship Management (mySAP CRM) and mySAP ERP applications, along with tested and supported upgrades, as per a statement issued by the company.

The SAP Integration & Certification Centre has certified that the ServicePower field resource optimisation solution integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) component of the SAP NetWeaver platform to exchange critical data with instances of the mySAP Business Suite family of applications and is integrated with the SAP NetWeaver Portal, the company said.

According to the company, the SERVICEPower automated scheduling solution creates and maintains optimal service schedules to manage mobile field personnel in real-time. SERVICEPower has been interfaced with SAP solutions in the past; however, this level of certified integration takes the benefits to customers to the next level. The integration with SAP NetWeaver XI expands the ability of customers to use the ServicePower software solution in a more sustained fashion.

ServicePower’s Field Resource Optimisation solution is powered by SAP NetWeaver. The SAP NetWeaver platform powers the mySAP Business Suite, SAP xApps packaged composite applications, and partner solutions. SAP NetWeaver unifies integration technologies into a single platform and is pre-integrated with business applications, enabling change and reducing the need for custom integration, the company said.
