California Software to Unveil Version 4 of infinite NET Suite

California Software Corp. has announced that it will release an expanded version of its infinite NET Midrange and Mainframe Modernisation Suite. Version 4 of infinite NET will provide developer tools and infrastructure for Web-to-host and Windows-to-host access to iSeries back-office applications.

California Software claims that infinite NET suite is based upon green screen recognition so it requires no changes to the host application and as a result there is no risk of disrupting core business operations. The recognition components are called Agents, and their behaviour can be controlled with infinite Studio Agents configuration panels, allowing the user to select, change and add recognition rules.

SDK 5250 comes to open infinite Net engine power to C# developers, based on KISS concept, allowing interaction with any 5250 compliant hosts with a few lines of code.

The new version of the infinite NET suite product will be available as a free download on the soon-to-be launched www.infinitenetsuite.com beginning August 15 along with an information-packed newsletter called SOA News, also available on August 15.
