Informatica Reports USD 94 Million in Q2 , New OEM Deal with SAP |

Data integration software maker Informatica reported its financial results for the second quarter at a 17 percent increase to USD 94.3 million.
“We are pleased with the record second quarter results in all major international regions,” said Sohaib Abbasi, chairman and CEO of Informatica.
“The latest product releases clearly contributed to our record second quarter license results. Additionally, with the new OEM agreements signed last quarter, we further strengthened our partner ecosystem.”
According to Redwood City, California based organistion, significant milestones achieved since April that contributed its growth include signing repeat businesses with 210 customers, increasing its customer base to 2,856 companies by adding 66 new customers and establishing an OEM relationship with SAP.
Under the terms of this OEM agreement, SAP will embed Informatica’s market-leading PowerCenter, PowerExchange and Metadata Manager software into SAP performance management and analytic applications and the SAP NetWeaver platform for master data management and business intelligence. By incorporating Informatica’s products into its applications, SAP will now be able to offer customers the ability to better integrate and track data from non-SAP, third-party and legacy systems.
“Our OEM relationship with SAP will help ensure that customers have access to Informatica’s best-in-class software to connect their business data – regardless of the source – into their SAP business applications,” said Paul Hoffman, executive vice president, Informatica Corp.
