Research Firm Ranks webMethods as one of Top 2 ESBs

Research firm Yphise has named Software AG’s webMethods Fabric as one of the two top-ranked enterprise service bus (ESB) solutions.

“The webMethods ESB offering delivers significant value in terms of improved business agility and IT’s enhanced alignment with business goals,” said Laurent Mynard, Research Analyst, Yphise, Inc.

“It relies on a metadata registry to improve the impact analysis of a change. It provides graphics to understand the service use and volume over time. Among the assessed products, only webMethods Fabric helps not only simulate the change but also reduce its impact…” added Mynard.

Other vendors reviewed by Yphise included BEA Systems, IBM, Progress Software’s Sonic subsidiary, and Tibco.
