IBM Improves Kiosk Technology |

IBM has turned its kiosk technology more user friendly. It has just upgraded kiosks into multipurpose retail machines by launching AnyPlace Kiosk.
Armonk, New York based IBM, formerly known as International Business Machines, has upgraded its kiosk technology by announcing new model that include larger screens, full-motion video, an improved user interface and other features for consumers, as well as technologies designed to make the systems more friendly.
IBM's says its goal is to make it easier for companies to manage the kiosks and add new functionality to them, and it is doing that through the use of wireless technology and remote-management software.
The AnyPlace Kiosk includes a model with a new 19 inch screen, and the kiosk support full-motion video, high-quality audio and 3-D graphics. |
