Indian Software Company Deploys Datacraft for Converged Communications

Enterprise software company Gurgaon has teamed up with Datacraft to implement next-generation converged communications network infrastructure for its office in India.

As a bid to better support its business growth, the organisation decided to upgrade its communications systems and implement a networking solution that would allow it to connect over 600 people, network remote offices, support mobile communication applications as well as enhance collaboration for its partners and employees across the globe while minimising cost and the complexity of its communication infrastructure.

IT solutions and services provider Datacraft, said the IP network designed by its team will provide the company with a seamless platform to integrate voice, video and data communications as well as analogue devices such as fax machines. The company is extending its IP network with new multi service applications, such as an advanced IP telephony solution, videoconferencing, voice gateways and unified messaging.

More than 450 units of IP phones will be connected to the network via a PSTN voice gateway. Its Gurgaon facility will be the first in India to deploy Cisco’s advanced 4924 switches for broadband aggregation, while a phone gateway integrates the new IP telephony solution with existing analogue devices such as the fax machines and modems.
