IT solutions and services company Datacraft has unveiled the next version of its Dynamic Desktop Deployment (DDD) solution which builds upon the key enhancements of the new Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 to ease desktop application deployment.
Packaged as a “cost-effective, efficient and structured method for automatically deploying, securing and centrally managing the latest desktop versions of Microsoft Windows, Office and other distributed applications throughout an enterprise,” the DDS solution enables a standard approach to desktop deployment, simplification of state migration tasks and automation of other deployment activities through the task sequencer. “Datacraft, together with Dimension Data, has been working with Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager team for over three years. Based on our skill and expertise in this space, we have enhanced and extended Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager with ITIL best practices to provide clients with a comprehensive systems management approach,” said Andy Cocks, Director, Solutions & Alliances, Datacraft. “We have invested heavily in System Center Configuration Manager 2007 to strengthen our leadership position in desktop management with a real focus on automating the end-to-end process associated with deploying client operating systems” said Eric Berg, director of product management for System Center at Microsoft Corp." |
