Herbert Leung Appointed as CEO for Atos Origin Asia Pacific

Atos Origin has appointed Herbert as Chief Executive Officer of Atos Origin Asia Pacific, an entity which covers Mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. He will manage the group’s IT services business covering Consulting, Systems Integration and Managed Operations.

Previous to this appointment, Herbert was the Chief Operating Officer of Atos Origin Asia Pacific with primary responsibilities for strengthening and developing the Managed Operation business in the region.

Herbet, 52, graduated with a First Class Honours in Electronics from the University of Dundee, Scotland.

He started his career with Schlumberger and has worked as country manager for China and Canada as well as Vice President for Europe, Africa and CIS. Before joining Atos Origin in 2004, he was Vice President of Global Service Delivery with SchlumbergerSema.
