McAfee Welcomes 9 New Partners to Security Innovation Alliance Program

Absolute Software, Application Security, Inc., Bit9, Inc., Guardium, LogLogic, Palamida, Q1 Labs, Raytheon Oakley Systems and Voltage have joined the McAfee Security Innovation AllianceTM, a technology partnering program that accelerates the development of interoperable security products and simplifies the integration of those products within complex customer environments.

Through the program, these companies will be able to integrate with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePOTM) for an industry-leading security and compliance risk management solution.

McAfee ePO is a platform that lets enterprises and governments centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors, offering unprecedented cost savings and return on investment. With more than 35,000 customers and managing more than 55 million PCs and servers, Security Innovation Alliance partners have the ability to extend their reach and create complementary functionality.

"By implementing products that are compatible with McAfee solutions, our customers experience faster deployment times and reduced costs," said Joe Gottlieb, vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances, McAfee.

"Security should be easy to manage, so McAfee has taken the steps needed to open up its security risk management architecture and provide customers with the tools to easily manage their multi-vendor security environments. The result is greater protection, reduced risk and increased compliance."

McAfee also said that channel partners can also benefit from the Security Innovation Alliance with an opportunity to expand their product portfolios, sell complete security solutions and drive implementation efficiencies through a better understanding of these third-party products and how they fit within the McAfee security risk management architecture.
