Fujitsu DESKPOWER K50Y to Reduce Workstation Clutter

Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific has introduced the DESKPOWER K50Y, its latest desktop PC product that combines its CPU with a 19 inch LCD display screen, presenting a space-saving small form factor that aims to not only free up desk space but minimize power consumption.

“The Fujitsu DESKPOWER K50Y was developed to meet the needs of corporate users who prefer a desktop that does not compromise too much on desk space, as typically happens. It makes this possible by its unique all-in-one form factor guaranteed to free up at least 30% of your desk space,” said Mr Lim Teck Sin, Associate Director, Product Marketing.

“This significant reduction in size coupled with minimal noise levels, makes the K50Y an ideal desktop for establishments such as banks, libraries, schools and even Internet cafes. Its enhanced security features makes it a winner for corporate and government offices as well.”

Running on Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7250 (2.0GHz, 2MB L2 cache, 800MHz) the DESKPOWER K50Y is set to deliver energy savings up to 45% when compared to over generic desktop PCs. The tool plans to achieve this set target through the use of the Intel mobile central processing unit, as well as the liquid crystal in the all-in-one design of the K50Y that ensures power consumption is substantially less than its general desktop counterparts through the integration of the CPU within its screen. This way, the K50Y greatly contributes to reduced operating cost and even has a master electrical switch for standby power to be activated at a flick of this switch, making the it an all-round environmentally-friendly PC.

The DESKPOWER K50Y is retailing at RRP of 1,888. It also features Fujitsu’s standard three year warranty.
