Hitachi Data Systems Shows Significant Growth in Indonesia

Hitachi acquired 25 new customers and added 30 new footprint, growing Hitachi's Indonesian customer base by 200% compared to 2005.

According to Edwin Lim, Country Manager Hitachi Data Systems Indonesia, for fiscal year 2008, Hitachi will focus on three business areas with four business strategies. "We will focus on storage consolidation and virtualization, business continuity, file and content services," said Lim.

On the other hand, Hitachi's four business strategy in fiscal year 2008 in Indonesia are to continue educating market (end-users) on benefit of networked storage, focus on adjacent market segments like storage software and services, continue to invest on partner and ensure skill partner to support customer, and focus, anticipate and address ever-changing customer needs.
