DELL Appoints GM for S’pore & Brunei |

Computer behemoth Dell has appointed Tan Teng Cheong as General Manager of Singapore and Brunei,
As General Manager for Dell Singapore and Brunei, Teng Cheong will be responsible for business development, sales, marketing, professional services and overall management of Dell’s operations for both markets.
“Dell in Singapore has experienced strong, profitable growth and made successful in-roads into several major Singapore large accounts. We are confident of Teng Cheong’s leadership and strategic vision to take our organization to the next level of excellence,” said Ng Tian Beng, General Manager – South Asia & Taiwan.
Commenting on his new role Teng Cheong said: “I am excited to be given the chance to play a challenging role in Dell’s operations in Singapore and Brunei…I am glad to be a part of the Dell team and look forward to contributing to the company's revenue and market share.”
Most recently, Teng Cheong was Sybase’s Singapore Country Manager, responsible for the company’s overall business operations for the market.
Teng Cheong is active in the Singapore IT community as the Executive Council Member of the Singapore Computer Society.
He holds a Bachelors Degree of Science (Computer & Information Science) from the National University of Singapore. |
