Software AG Announces Legacy Integration Adapters for SAP NetWeaver

Software AG has extended its legacy integrator family of adapters to enable COBOL and PL/I users to easily integrate their legacy systems with the SAP NetWeaver open application, integration and composition platform. These applications along with those written in PL/I and Natural 2006, Software AG’s application development platform, can now communicate bi-directionally with SAP NetWeaver.

The SAP NetWeaver XI adapters for COBOL, PL/I, Natural and EntireX are fully integrated into the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI), an essential component of the SAP NetWeaver platform, helping assure central configuration, administration and Software AG announces certified Adapters for integrating COBOL and PL/I applications with SAP NetWeaver monitoring.

The adapters offer fast integration of existing legacy applications and acceleration of business processes through real-time data exchange. They can fully leverage applications running on mainframes, iSeries or UNIX systems, incorporating them into SAP NetWeaver XI. SAP NetWeaver customers can now benefit from Software AG’s legacy integration capabilities and experience.

The Legacy Integrator family for SAP NetWeaver now includes the SAP NetWeaver XI Adapter for COBOL, the SAP NetWeaver XI Adapter for PL/I, the SAP NetWeaver XI Adapter for Natural and the SAP NetWeaver XI Adapter for EntireX.
